Welcome! Second semester has begun and I am looking forward to an excellent semester. For those of you who have not heard, I did get married over the break so I am now Mrs. Burdette (previously Drendel). Second Semester in U.S. history we will be studying American history from the Civil War on. Government will be carefully studying the Constitution and preparing for the Constitution test. Modern World will examine how world events have developed into the current state of our world. Consumer Education will be preparing students to manage money and set career paths. Modern Problems will analyze current events. Finally, Western Geography will be looking at the geographic features and cultures of the western hemisphere.
Remember students are asked to write down their assignments from the board everyday so they should have no excuse for not having their assignment written down!
