Preschool Times

This Week In Preschool...
The children will be talking about snowmen. We
will be making chalk pictures, collage snowmen,
and puffy pictures. They will be doing a science
project with ice. The children will hear about a
special polar bear and color a polar bear picture.
They will also practice writing their names. Please
look in the folder for the correct way to write your
child's name and practice with them at home.
The students who are here on Friday will start
bringing home books that they color and can
start reading to you. The hot cocoa shop is still
open and going great. We will be changing to a
grocery store soon. We have plenty of food for it,
but would like paper ads to add to it. Have a
wonderful week!
Train Trip
You need to turn in your permission slip and money for the train trip by Thursday of this week. We have to send the list and money to Amtrak. Please make sure you send it in.
Reminders
* If you still have the Highlights
paper at home, send it back
signed even if you do not want it.
We get free items for our
classroom. If you have not
returned it, I will send another one
home this week.
*I also need phone numbers and
emergency contacts from some
of you. I will send a note home in
the notebook if I need them from
you.
*Library on Thursday.
Feasibility Results
The Board of Education will be having a
meeting on Thursday night on the results of
the feasibility study. The meeting is at 7:30 in
the high school gym. Everyone is invited to
hear the results. The study was conducted by
three professors from the University of Illinois,
Springfield.
Valentine's Day

Piggy Bank
We will start collecting change in our
piggy bank. You do not have to
participate if you do not want to. If
you do, send in some change. We will
collect until April. We use the money
to go to the bank and have it
counted. Then we shop at the store for
a picnic. If we have any left we visit a
restaurant to eat.
