Congratulations to Gavin for being our Student of the Week!
DATES TO REMEMBER:
March is our breakfast with Dads. Please return the form so we know how many are eating breakfast with us. REMEMBER, we will have breakfast in the room for everyone on Mondays and Fridays in March. Your child will NOT go to the lunchroom for breakfast on those days. We need some plastic forks and spoons. We have plenty of pancake mix, thank you for being so generous.
March 12 is an early dismissal at 11:30
March 17, Wednesday have your child wear something green.
April 1-5 is Spring Break- NO SCHOOL
April 29, ThursdayTrain trip to Macomb stopping at Dairy Queen to eat.
We need you to send in the money for the lunch anytime. We will collect all the money, and then place our order the week of the train trip. This gives everyone plenty of time to save $6.
Please, return your child’s library book on Wednesday, so your child may check out another one.
Sammy
started his visits last week. We were told Sammy had a great time
at River’s house. River and Sammy stayed all night at Papa’s house.
River fed him a banana and they watched a movie. River and Sammy
played with Matt and River’s sister, Willow. River had his picture
taken with Sammy. After visiting River, Sammy went to Gage’s house.
Sammy played basketball with Gage. He introduced Sammy to his
family. He drew a picture for Sammy in the notebook. Gage said he
liked reading stories to Sammy. When it is your turn you will need
to write in the journal about the puppy’s adventures at your house.
Sammy is in a blue backpack with Winnie the Pooh on the front of
it. Please send Sammy and all his belongs back in the backpack. The
germ-x is in the zipper part on the front of the backpack. I didn’t
want it to accidently leak and go all over Sammy and his books.
As you know we are collecting for the piggy bank. If you have loose change and want to send it in with your child, it is appreciated.
The alphabet and shape calendar has been sent home. Each day Tuesday through Thursday there will be a different letter. PLEASE send something that starts with that letter to school with your child. Review the letters frequently along with the sound each letter makes. This Monday is triangle. Tuesday is the letter “H”. Wednesday is the letter “K”. Thursday is the letter “Q”. If you cannot find a triangle or the letters, please send in a cutout of the shape and letter.
